Last night, Page Lizard were proud to support the annual PPA Digital Awards, celebrating the projects and companies at the forefront of digital publishing creativity and innovation.
We’d like to offer our congratulations to all the winners and highly commended entries – for a full list, click here to go to the PPA website.
Here is a quick snippet of what we got up to at the daytime event…
You can also view a selection of photos taken on the night of our Page Lizard team below.
Guests at the event were also able to enter our very own ‘Snap your Lizard’ competition. Our rubber lizards were arranged on each table, with the competition instructions printed on mock iPhones. We challenged entrants to name their lizards then tweet us an imaginative picture of it.
We loved most of your entries (sticking lizards up noses is not okay!), and found it really tough to select a winner. Below are some of our favourite entries from the night…
Commended for dedication:

Anyone who is brave enough to put a random rubber lizard in their mouth, over their face or in their drink deserves a mention for being dedicated to the cause. Or foolish. We’ll leave you to decide.
Commended for creativity:

Some of these really made us chuckle, especially with that priceless expression from Ed Miliband. As you can see, there were some great entries, so we enlisted the PPA’s help to choose the winner. So without further ado…
…the winner is:
I want champagne @pagelizard pic.twitter.com/1aRttROeUA — Anthony Wilks (@antwilks) November 19, 2014
We loved this meta-creative tweet from Anthony Wilks. Anyone who battles temperamental wifi to ask twice in one tweet deserves the bottle of champagne that is waiting for them. Well done!
