DIGITAL EDITION SALESTES was named the fastest-growing digital edition this week in Press Gazette with sales up 17-fold year on year. It’s left us feeling like proud parents!

It follows ABC’s decision to include the TES digital editions from November 2013 in its digital magazine audit for the second half of 2014. The Economist was the most successful digital edition, with average audited sales of 50,000 an  increase of 300 % year-on-year. The Week is ranked second with a circulation of 27,000 and T3 with 17,000.

The Times Educational Supplement, which has been produced by Page Lizard since 2012, was ranked fourth with a UK circulation of 15,000 meaning it outranks popular newsstand titles like Top Gear, GQ, Empire and Time Magazine.

The weekly magazine for teachers worldwide is published in both responsive HTML view and page-replica format on iOS and Android apps as well as via an online portal with searchable archive.

ABC classifies digital editions as digital versions which are almost identical to the print one. Whilst readers are able to view TES digital as a print-replica, it is enhanced by the ability to switch to a mobile-responsive view of articles. TES, like any edition produced by Page Lizard, aims to be as readable in mobile format as it is in print or online.

On average, digital magazine editions rose by 33.1 per cent year on year.

“TES is a beautiful magazine, which absolutely delivers what its readership wants. It is an amazing opportunity to able to translate TES into such a successful digital edition and play a part in that success,”
Graham Duffill, Page Lizard CEO.

Congratulations TES!
