1 – FIPP London Media Tour
23 – 25 May
Locations around London
FIPP’s Media Tour will take you behind the scenes of some of the most innovative publishing and media companies. With visits to the offices of The Economist, Dennis and Time Inc among others, this is a great opportunity to learn more about the industry’s most exciting projects. Page Lizard’s Esther Kezia will be on the tour – say hello if you’re also on board!

2 – PPA Awards 2016

It’s time to don the ballgowns and bow ties and head into London for an evening of glitz, glamour and publishing excellence! Kevin Costello, the PPA Chairman & CEO of Haymarket Media Group described the event as ‘One of the nights in the calendar you wouldn’t want to miss’, and with some excellent shortlisted individuals and companies, it promises to be a fantastic event.

3 – Page Lizard Summer Party
5 July
Following on from our smashing 10th birthday party, we will once again be playing host at a free summer shindig in central London. Keep an eye out over the next few weeks as we reveal the theme and open the sign-up list.

4 – AOP Digital Publishing Awards 2016
14 July
The Roundhouse, Camden
A “must-attend” evening for anyone in digital publishing! The AOP have had a record number of submissions this year, and we look forward to the shortlist being announced next week.

5 – Magfest
16 September
Edinburgh
This year’s Magfest is running with a ‘Fight For Your Audience’ theme. Topics have yet to be confirmed, but this is definitely one to keep an eye on.

6 – Digiday Publishing Summit
19 – 21 September
Key Biscayne, Florida
The focus at this year’s Digiday Publishing Summit will be the “Platform Power Play” – exploring the successes, failures and lessons of distributing on platforms. This event seems to be genuinely concerned with the latest hot topics for publishers, and is a great excuse for a trip to Miami!

7- Monetising Media
21 – 23 September
Millennium Gloucester, London
This conference from Media Briefing aims to answer that golden question: how can publishers make money? If it’s up to the standard of their Digital Media Strategies conference, then this is well worth attending if you’re a senior exec in magazines, news or B2B publishing.
